WHO CAN JOIN W.O.B.D.A? W.O.B.D.A is open to all enthusiasts of bellydance. The W.O.B.D.A membership is made up of the group , the academy,the association， teachers, students, professional and amateur performers, musicians, and audience members. - There are no pre-requisites as to dance ability or level of experience needed to become a member.

W.O.B.D.A is open to all enthusiasts of bellydance. The W.O.B.D.A membership is made up of the group , the academy,the association， teachers, students, professional and amateur performers, musicians, and audience members. dedicated to the promotion, research, and discussion of Middle Eastern dance and music. Our members include Middle Eastern Dancers, dance instructors, photographers, artists, costumers, ethnologists, and historians of this ancient and beautiful art form. Here are no pre-requisites as to dance ability or level of experience needed to become a member. All you require is an interest in the dance and a desire What does W.O.B.D.A do? W.O.B.D.A is a non-profit society registered in the Europe and Asia. As indicated in our “Mission Statement” we have developed as a resource for anyone interested in World BellyDance. We are a home to members of all interest and skill levels.In the spirit of serving all teachers and performers equally, we provide recommendations (through our web newsletter) based solely on geography and invite potential students to sample a broad range of teaching styles. Additional W.O.B.D.A functions: Organize, sponsor, support, and promote a wide variety of dance related events. i.e. shows, workshops, bazaars, student nights, etc.Promote dancers and teachers.Provide opportunities for networking and communication amongst dancers.Increase public awareness and acceptance of World BellyDance.Offer members discounts on WOBDA events.Maintain a website to promote WOBDA and it’s activities.
